Shalom! My love for Israel began after a 1981 trip to the Holy Land during the Feast of Succot, (Tabernacles) the Bible had introduced me to the land of the prophets. The Old and New Testament, scriptures came alive for me. In awe. I visited the places I had read about and walked where Yeshua (Jesus) walked so many years ago. I firmly believe that God loves Israel with an everlasting love and His promise in Gen. 12:3 "I will bless those who bless my people and I will curse those who curse them." is still as true today.
Today the name has grown to Hineni, Shalom Al Yisrael (Here Am I, peace upon Israel) with songs of Zion. Our songs are in Hebrew, English and Spanish. We welcome those who have a love for Israel and its music and wish to be part of this ministry.
We believe that God made an everlasting covenant. He spoke to Jacob, “Thy name is Jacob ... but Israel shall be thy name. I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins; And the land which I gave to Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee, shall I give the land.”
Also God spoke to the Prophet Ezekiel, “I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, and one king shall be king over them all, they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again.”

Here Am I, peace upon Israel ... with songs of Zion. Perhaps your church or organization is planning a “Bless Israel” event, even have a guest speaker in mind, or an Israeli Consulate, but do not have Hebraic music? Or maybe an event where different ministries come together for a special cause? Hineni, Shalom Al Yisrael would welcome the opportunity to be of service. Our mission is to promote love, concern and prayer for Israel through our music, wherever and whenever it is needed. As violence and unrest in Israel escalates, let us as Christians unite in prayer for her. Why? In Deuteronomy 32:10 and Zechariah 2:8, God calls His chosen people, the apple of His eye. Hineni, Shalom Al Yisrael is looking forward to making your event or gathering a special one.
At the Benyanei Haoma Auditorium in Jerusalem, the late Prime Minister of Israel, Menachem Begin addressed 4,000 Christians. He was touched at how many Christians had come to show him that Israel was not alone, and never, never again, would we allow another Holocaust to occur. I prayed that God would use me as he had the prophet Isaiah. God was seeking someone to help Israel and Isaiah answered Him, “Hineni! Here am I, Lord, send me!”
I returned to Texas sharing the Jewish songs I learned with friends who also had a love for Israel. It was amazing how quickly God began to open the doors for us to minister in churches who loved Israel and wished to have Bless Israel Nights. God took us seriously when we said, “Hineni, Send me!” So, of course the name of the ministry became known as “Hineni.”
